Education is for the flourishing of the human person
So what is the human person?
Classical Education believes that the human person is a unified being – mind, body, soul; that it exists in a world that is knowable and interconnected; that truth, goodness and beauty exist; that the perfection of the human person is of high value(also referred to as virtue); that the past is an important element of the present; that honour, respect and love, ordered correctly, are necessary for social beings to live in a civilized society- to name a few glimpses.
